Welcome to my world! My name is Silas Mwenda.I was born and raised in Kenya,Africa but currently resides in the US. Am an actor, commercial model, voice actor , singer, ,songwriter and film producer.Am very passionate about life,God,animals especially elephants ,dogs,food and people. I started my creative journey since I was 8 years old in my village in Kenya in my local church and school.It always felt great to be on stage either entertaining and inspiring people through songs or stage play. I had this dream and desire to tell powerful ,fun and inspiring stories as it also made me feel more alive in return as a little boy growing up in the jungle land. At age 22, I got signed by Ogopa deejays -a household Kenyan talent Agent and that was the turning point of my creative career.The reason why am In the creative industry is not to be famous nor have this large following on social media but being able to tell even the tiniest piece of story with passion and grace it deserves through my music and screen play to touch the deepest part of human life and bring a little joy to someones heart and make this world a better place to live in.I have a 14 track album dubbed African Rain set for release on October 21st 2023.African Rain is a music compilation album that showcases most African styles including Afro fusion Afro beat,Afro pop,Benga and ballads which targets a listenership margin of 5years to 100 years.African Rain album has songs sang in almost 7 different languages from Swahili,English,kimeru,Luyha,Kikuyu,French,Zulu,Nigerian Ibo,Luganda amongst others.In addition to that, am set to star and co produce Louis shepherds best selling book Lariba being entirely filmed in Ghana starting this September. Am also very passionate about mental health and serving my community both in the US and marginalized parts of Africa especially the needy. I do orgazine,Mobilize-charitable works through my creative stage. Life is a beautiful thing and am looking forward to leaving a smile on someone’s face in one way or another in whichever platform we will interact on my creative journey. Thank you. .
